I did this with my kids recently and was ASTOUNDED at the many TERRIFIC ideas they had!
And a few wacky ones, like a gift of $50 a day! I wrote it on the list even though my kiddo said, “I was just kidding, I know that can’t be it! Don’t write that down.”
It still went on the list.
No judgments. No nay-saying. No expectations.
They felt really grateful and valued that I asked them for their opinions, ideas, and thoughts on our family life and what we could do to make just one small improvement.
We picked to start making our menu list for the week again because it makes dinner planning easier each day and then the kids know what to expect which makes them feel good.
This is a really easy and fun challenge.
You just need a pen and paper or your phone to type and text the list to yourself.
Ask your kids, “What is one thing we could do to make our life better?”
Accept ALL ideas.
Get curious and explore together which idea would be the easiest to try.
Make a plan and give it a whirl!
Come back to leave a comment with the ideas and plan you create please!
